Nestle Bursaries Programme

Nestle Bursaries 2017

The NFT Bursary scheme is offered to Nestlé’s employee’s children and external applicants based on the screening criteria.

The aim of this bursary is to ensure a steady supply of skilled talent to meet Nestlé’s future talent needs and to address the skills shortage within the South African context.

This bursary programme provides for the support of South African students to study at an accredited South African tertiary institution up to an undergraduate level depending on the duration of the qualification.

Nestle Bursaries Application Conditions

• Applicant must be a South African Citizen between the ages of 17 – 25.

• Applicant is required to have a Senior Certificate with a minimum of a “C” aggregate (60 – 69%). A strong preference will be given to Mathematics, Science and Accounting.

• The applicant should be registered on a full time basis at an accredited institution of choice.

• The Bursary Programme provides for the support of South African students to study at an accredited South African tertiary institution up to an under graduate level depending on the duration of the qualification.

• The fields of study for which Bursaries are awarded will be determined by the Learning and Development Management department annually, strongly guided by critical and scarce skills identified in the business.

SA Weather Service Learnerships

Meteorology Graduate Learnership Programme 2017

The South African Weather Service invites graduates who are in possession of a three year BSc degree with suitable major subjects such as Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics, Oceanography or Meteorological related subjects, to apply for a bursary to undergo a one year course in basic meteorology.

Application Requirements

The minimum requirements are Mathematics on level 2 and Physics on level 1. The course will include a range of meteorological courses. The students will study at the University of Pretoria. This course will start in February 2017.

On successful completion of the course selected students will have an opportunity to study the BSc meteorology Honours course and the post graduate certificate in Weather Forecasting as stipulated by the South Africa.

Rand Water Bursaries

Rand Water Bursaries

South African water supply utility, Rand Water, is inviting applications for its 2017 Bursaries in various fields of study (see tables below). The bursaries will be awarded to residents of Mpumalanga and Gauteng as these are the provinces from which operates. Depending on your province of residence, Rand Water will fund you for certain qualifications and in certain years of study.
